The 'Taliban' are originally orphans and refugees from the soviet occupation. They grew up studying in wahabi madrassas in Pakistan. Taliban is the Pashtun word for students. If you could de-radicalise them they would be good but without that they'll be like the Khmer Rouge - that is not good.
