You don't understand how reliant we are on fossil fuels. If Europe does not abandon renewables you will cause a recession like the 1970s Oil crisis. When there is an energy crisis, war often ensues. Perhaps only a war will cure people of their teenage carbon-free fantasies. Just ask Sri Lankans what happened when they abandoned chemical fertilisers.
